The OnMetro 8114 is a high performance, cost-effective, carrier-grade
manageable 12 Gigabit to one 10 Gigabit Ethernet multiplexer system, which is intended for applications of enterprise leased line and mobile backhaul or to increase the channel capacity of legacy fiber andCWDM/DWDM infrastructures over 10 times.
It supports two SFP+ based XG Automatic Protection Switch (APS) links
between local and remote multiplexer to offer 12 truly isolated and protocol independent SFP based GE links over the high reliable
APS fiber pair.
With industry advanced features such as Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) or Remote Fault Detection (RFD), and Dying Gasp Alarm, it makes more efficient troubleshooting and less on-site maintenance. The OnMetro 8114 provides remote loopback and in-band IEEE802.3ah, IEEE802.1ag, ITU-T Y.1731 OAM capabilities.
